Happy Birthday to My Hero!

My daughter’s birthday is in a few days, and once again I am completely gobsmacked at how quickly time goes by.

Yesterday I searched through the hundreds of photographs I have taken of her over the years, and I inserted a few of them into a slideshow. Some were taken during her ABA (for autism) therapy, some when she was a young teenager, one about five years ago, and one while we lived in Florida.

Despite the odds, Katie has accomplished much over the years, and her plans include starting a career in public speaking. She works hard at two jobs, and I admire her determination and positive outlook.

Katie is my hero, and I know she will continue to achieve success.
