I’ve been writing off and on for twenty years–my first attempts were two plays, two screenplays, and two short stories (hmmm- not sure of the significance of that!). I was a reporter for a local newspaper (and also wrote a variety of columns), proofreader, editor, newsletter writer for a wildlife organization and writer of stage plays and screenplays. Two of my short stories made it to the finals of the 2017 Florida Writers Association Royal Palm Literary Award competition. I’m proud of my first published book, From Prompting to Shaping to Letting Go, and my first novel, Elanora and the Salt Marsh Mystery was published in March 2021. My second novel, Island Times Three (A Raymond Gray Mystery), will be published August 2021.
