It has been a wet 24 hours or so, and we expect the rain to continue here until well into next week!
We have had a good amount of rain so far this year (yet not enough for the farmers–the next few days should help remediate the drought-like conditions for crops) and the flowers and vegetables have responded wonderfully.
The cosmos have doubled in size, as have many other flowers, and appear to be taller than they were by August of last year. The rain has played a large part, and I suspect the addition of DairyDoo (organic compost) has done its job to encourage growth.
A short break in the rain today enabled me to take a few more photos of snapdragons, stella doro daylilies, impatiens, ageratum, geraniums, zinnias, marigolds, cosmos and begonias.

Thank you for visiting my site, and I hope you enjoy my flower images and videos!
